Dragonflies are some of my favourite insects. They can be found flying around ponds and other freshwater sources. Dragonflies originated some 300 million years ago. Dragonflies aren't just beautiful fliers they are also ferocious predators that can intercept prey midair with a 95% success rate. Beautiful and deadly.
