Hermit Crab

Mikalyn Trinca Colonel, 2020

Hermit Crabs are pretty cool crustaceans but they aren't really "true" crabs. Hermit crabs scavenge for shells to use to protect their soft body as they are unable to create their own shell. There are over 800 species of hermit crab, the one I drew here is based on a black-eyed hermit crab which can be found in the Pacific Ocean off the North West coast of North America.
