Seahorse

I drew this seahorse for my mom as it is her favourite marine animal. Seahorses are unique animals being some of the few to be monogamous and share life long partnerships with their mate. Seahorses are also the only animal which the male bears the unborn young (#breakinggendernorms). Unfortunately, many of the 47 known seahorse species are threatened every year do the senseless poaching to be sold on the black market. Twelve species are listed as vulnerable, seventeen are understudied, and two are critically endangered. So please remember just like any cool animal, they may be neat to look at but not to buy.
